Be sure to join us (and invite others as well!) on Sunday, December 4 from 5 – 6:30pm at Spirit of Peace for our 1st Sunday of the month “Wayfarers Collective Gathering.” This time the theme will be: “The Christmas Story: Fact, Fiction, and Faith.” Do you know what year Jesus was actually born? Was it really a star that shone over Bethlehem? Who truly were the three gift-bearers at the manger, and when did they arrive? We’ll cover these questions and more!
Don’t forget to bring some “finger food” and beverages (soda, wine, beer, etc.) to share!
Just a reminder…this ain’t church or worship, folks! These gatherings ARE, though, intended to be spiritual and engaging for Christian and non-Christian alike. Our Wayfarers Collective Gatherings are intended to embrace elements of culture and the arts as we explore and savor the richness of this life together. It’s also an opportunity to collectively deepen our spiritual journey by drinking in some purposeful conversation, questioning everything, and enjoying ourselves with some good company along the way. Be sure to bring someone along who you think might enjoy such exploration!
Each month, we’ll have a “finger food potluck” (please bring food/beverage to share!), music, and engaging discussion. Families with children are welcome to attend with the understanding that this is a setting where alcohol is being served. If there proves to be a need, we will work on providing childcare for those who wish to take advantage of it.
Come join us!
