Our Recipe for Co-existing & Thriving Together
We come from diverse backgrounds. So, rather than start with what can sometimes be experienced as stale or processed ingredients (read as doctrinal, liturgical, theological, etc.) to express our collective faith, we begin by mixing together accessible ideas and experiences, like a meal, from daily life. We then STIR (Seek Truth with Integrity and Respect) in some sound teachings, practices, theology and the like to ferment it all into a collective broth of understanding. That way we’re apt to appreciate and savor it as much as it nourishes us…all while respecting the integrity and value of the tradition/approach each of us brings to the table.
How We STIR Conversation
Seek Truth with Integrity and Respect (STIR)
If you don’t begin with the actual intent to SEEK understanding and maybe even appreciate a perspective that differs from your own…you won’t.
“…to express our collective faith, we begin by mixing together accessible ideas and experiences (like a meal) from daily life.”
