Wayfarers Faith Collective Leaders
Michael McAllister
Establishing Wayfarers Faith Collective is the culmination of a vision that has been a part of me for some time now. That vision was and is to create a space that allows for an approach to faith that is more accessible to a generation with many spiritual questions yet minimal or no desire to address them in today’s institutional “church.”
Apart from being an unconventional pastor, my wife, Lori, and I tend to fill our spare and leisure time with a variety of outdoor activities including sailing, camping, hiking, and taking our Labradoodle dog (Winnie) for walks on the beach. I also enjoy bicycling, photography, playing/composing music, brewing my own beer, wine, and mead, and traveling whenever I get the chance. I additionally enjoy growing hops and grapes and a variety of herbs in my backyard. Hopefully, we’ll see some fine wines, meads and ales resulting from the fruits of those vines and plants in the years to come!
